Los Angeles) was a rock & roll and R&B singer,multi instrumentalist,music producer
and songwriter. He is best known for recording two songs in 1958 that would be hits again in the 1960s and 1970s.One song he did peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in October of 1958.In 1972 Michael Jackson would do a cover version of the same song and once again the song would go to #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.The B side of our birthday boys 1958 hit peaked at #41 on the US Billboard Hot 100.Then the Dave Clark Five in 1965 would do a cover version of the song and have their only #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

He is the founder of Big Gates Records.He was a wide receiver on the football team
