8) Also born on Wednesday,March 31,1948 but in Washington,D.C.,USA is a politician
and environmentalist who served as the 45th Vice President of the United States
from 1993 to 2001.He was Bill Clinton's running mate in their successful campaign
in 1992 and the pair was re-elected in 1996. Near the end of Clinton's second term, he was selected as the Democratic nominee for the 2000 presidential election
but lost the election in a very close race after a Florida recount.

9) Born on Sunday,March 31,1940 in Montpelier,Vermont,USA is a politician serving
as the senior United States Senator from Vermont,in office since 1975.A member of
the Democratic Party,he held the position of President pro tempore of the United
States Senate from December 17,2012, to January 6, 2015 and was thus during that
time third in the presidential line of succession.He is currently the most senior
member of the Senate and took office at the age of 34 years,younger than any other
current U.S. Senator.He received the title of President pro tempore emeritus upon
the commencement of the 114th Congress. He is the last remaining member of the
Senate to have served prior to the 1976 election of President Jimmy Carter.

10) Born on Thursday,March 31,1927 in Yuma,Arizona,USA (Died:April 23,1993 in San
Luis,Arizona,USA)was an American labor leader and civil rights activist who,with
Dolores Huerta, co-founded the National Farm Workers Association in 1962.
   During his lifetime,there were a few institutions named in his honor,but after
his death he became a major historical icon for the Latino community,with many
schools,streets and parks being named after him.He has since become an icon for
organized labor and leftist politics,symbolizing support for workers and for
Hispanic empowerment based on grass roots organizing.He is also famous for
popularizing the slogan "S??, se puede" (Spanish for "Yes,one can" or,roughly,
"Yes,it can be done"),which was adopted as the 2008 campaign slogan of Barack Obama.

11) Born on Saturday,March 31,1928 in Floral,Saskatchewan,Canada (Died:June 10,2016 in Sylvania,Ohio,U.S.A.)was a Canadian professional ice hockey player.From 1946 to 1980,he played twenty-six seasons in the National Hockey League and six seasons in the World Hockey Association;his first 25 seasons were spent with the Detroit Red Wings.
     Nicknamed "Mr. Hockey",he is considered the most complete player to ever play the game and one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time.A 23-time NHL All-Star,he held many of the sport's career scoring records until they were broken in the 1980s by Wayne Gretzky,who himself has been a major champion of his legacy.He
continues to hold NHL records for most games and seasons played.In 2017,he was
named one of the "100 Greatest NHL Players".
